This was a simpler page, but that worked out nicely given how much I had to do last week while I worked on it. I’m uploading this a bit earlier than usual as I have to head out soon and didn’t want to wrestle my schedule around the usual upload time. I’ve been dealing with a problem that started a little over two weeks ago, and this weekend I will finally be resolving it. This week was also rough since I’ve been dealing with severe flu-like symptoms since Tuesday, but I still managed to get my updates done. I’m still quite sick at the moment and hope it’s not too hellish taking care of what I have to do this weekend, but I’m sure it’ll all work out.

This was the page I had essentially finished last week, but I felt it progressed a bit less smooth than I had hoped from page 148, so I did a separate page for 149 and postponed this one.

And with this I have amended the issue I felt existed with how the previous page 149 was presented. The page itself was fine, but I felt it skipped forward too abruptly, especially considering the significance of this scene in relation to this specific comic. In any normal short comic I would have felt it fine as it was, which is why it felt perfectly fine as I was working on it, but in the end I felt it didn’t work here.
Next week I’ll have to do some very important things throughout the week. With this I have two pages done, which while it ate up a significant portion of my weekend time, it has me on track to compensate for any time lost throughout the week. As such I’ll still have a free page uploaded next Friday, so I won’t be off track in that regards no matter how things go.

Some of you may have noticed no lines this week, so in case you missed any of the posts explaining why, it’s because lines will be posted exclusively to subscribers on SubscribeStar. These pages will still be released for free on this site at the time of completion, at least until I get past this first vaginal part between Ben and Gwen. I know a lot of people waited a long time for it to get here, so I’m not going to put it on a delayed release right as it’s getting started.

I drew this gradually over the weekend simply because I felt like trying the style, but also because I wanted to try out compiling a series of images onto a single canvas. I’m thinking I may try to do random illustrations of characters like this over the next I don’t know how many weekends. They may not all be to the same level of completion as this, at least not if there’s this many figures included. This type of image will allow me to sketch/draw whatever I feel like doing at the time, and may serve as a good practice for doing some OC illustrations, since I don’t have to stick to any specific characters, and not being locked into any specific project means I can tinker around more.

Teen Titans Go!: Beast Boy and Raven Swimsuits

Yet again I wanted to test some simple things with a simple style, this time keeping more with the actual style though and trying not to stylize anything too heavily. All I really did differently was thicken up some features, and make Beast Boy’s body less barrel-shaped, as well as changed his weird skeleton nose. Overall I felt this came out alright, but that was more to be expected when following the original style more closely.
This image, like the last one, was done without a background because the entire intent was testing stylistic options, which backgrounds would have distracted from. The testing purpose is also why I went with very simple poses, as I didn’t want to spend time trying to work that in among testing out other things.
