Due to the characters and their abilities being less known, I decided this comic will open with character introductions and a largely narrated buildup.

This is one of two illustrations I did last month for SubscribeStar, as I was preparing for the upcoming Power Pack comic. I would have uploaded these Monday, as per the normally intended schedule, but I postponed them to my normal Friday uploads due to spending a week sketching additional pages rather than finishing any. Starting next week I should have weekly Power Pack pages.

Chain Reaction Cover

I just uploaded this cover to SubscribeStar, but am uploading it here to announce what is upcoming while Sultry Summer is on hold. I will be completing the first two scenes of this comic, then would like to alternate a bit between it and Sultry Summer.
Last week I sketched out the first 3 pages in lieu of lining/coloring, as I wanted to get used to the style a bit before finalizing anything. As a result I do not have any finished pages, so next week there will not be a finished page to upload publicly, as I am resuming the one week early access for subscribers. This means the first finished page should be uploaded to my site in 2 weeks, meaning no comic update next Friday.
This upcoming Monday is the second week of the month, and I do have a couple illustrations to upload from SubscribeStar, but I will be moving that to Friday in place of the normal scheduled update, so as not to have a Friday without any notifications or updates.
Sultry Summer Page 171

With this the first book of Sultry Summer, after 171 pages, is finally complete. There’s still a whole second book planned, but after all these years of working on it I’d like to take a break to start something else. Once I get a scene or two into what I have planned I’ll be picking up book 2.
Book 2 will be substantially more episodic than book 1, jumping between events with Ben and Gwen (and some other characters), since now their sexual relationship is established. I won’t be giving more details than that for now, as anything else would be spoilers.
Up next is a Power Pack comic, which I’ve already posted a couple sketches for on SubscribeStar, and will be sketching another page at least over the weekend. I’m sketching a few pages first before going in and lining/coloring anything, to give myself a little bit of time with the style change before I go in and finalize the pages. This means there may not be a finished page to post to this site next week, but we’ll see how it goes.
