I could have wrapped this scene up in this page, but there’s still one thing I would have been skipping that I’ve decided against skipping. This means this scene will be stretched a few more pages before moving to their next location.

Sorry for the longer than usual delay. I could go on a rant about things going on lately but I’ll save everyone some time and just say that I’ll still try and have everything done by Friday at the expected time. Luckily this page ended up being a simpler one in terms of how long the lines will take as it’s just a single intermission page to lead into the next page.

Yet again the sketch took forever to figure out. I was unsure how I wanted to do many things, and I’m still a bit uncertain of some of the expressions on Gwen. There’s several things I’d like to mess with, but I’ve spent way too long on this so I’ll have to save trying things out for the line phase.

Super late update is super late, but I had a hell of a day trying to draw yesterday. I simply could not get myself satisfied with how I wanted to lay out this page, literally spending the entire day with no acceptable progress. I was unsatisfied with the general script for the next few pages, scrapped them, redid them like a million times and still could not get satisfied with them. After finally getting through that issue, I got to repeat this process with the layout of the page before I could sketch it.

I simply had a massive artist’s+writer’s block for the entire day, but the block finally cracked after a stupid long setback. This was all quite upsetting because this was a rather simple page. At least this sketch is done and I can get myself on a more standard pace now that it’s time for lines/colors.
